The bright blue was a bit too much, with the mermaid top in my view....so dark and stormy made it moody and cool.  I also decided to ditch the mirror for a screen to hold earrings. I like the dark blue paint much better. 

I was given a pretty tattered vanity that needed a new look in a bad way.  Here is the remedy.
