This is a coffee table I made over for  neighbors who made over their basement for their grandchildren.  How cool is that?  They have a train all set up so they wanted a sturdy "train" table to finish off the sitting area.  The train image came from a picture book and the rest is paper that gave the piece an old fashioned look.   

BEFORE:  A bit of a green nightmare actually. Definitley needed a "groovy update".     AFTER: I just loved this paint color. Kind of a mauvey, dusty purple. She also got a resurfacing with pretty tan toned papers and some cordinating knobs to finish the look. I call her "Gardener's Wisp".  These pictures just don't do her justice.  I must say, she is a lovely gal now.
