A new home for my "Wild Nights" desk.  My good friend Liz @ EH Freshie.   Here are a few of her amazing art pieces... Fish Swimming-Cactus Giraffe - It comes in many colors! Her owl is so pretty. Spring Rooster My favorite are her peacocks.  Isn't this one gorgeous?  All her pieces are available in a multitude of hues.   This is just a small example of her work.  Pretty awesome, right? Lets just say it was brown BEFORE... I thought I took a picture but who knows which camera I used, yada yada.  Suffice it to say, the hutch had lovely bones but not much else going on.  It needed some groove. She has a place of honor in my girlfriends new home.  Front and center in her styley new dining room.  I can't wait to see her in place.  I love the bird paper she picked out.  I think the new look is very complimentary to the cool contemporary furniture lines.  What do you think? A basic book shelf received a groovy new look for my friend and  Yoga instructors meditation space. Side view Meditation Alter from a trunk the owner had that belonged to her Mother.  A perfect reuse for this sentimental piece. The feet were left as originally found  PEACE  -  Kelly

My huge white barn got the royal makeover these past couple of days when my girlfriend came to visit and help me with this massive project. My gal pal hard at work!  She even provided some of the exterior paint.... She rocks! We tried a bit of shading but it just didn't look good.  We ended up covering it up and going with simple clean lines. My bestie, Kelly O.  She worked her ass off and enjoyed every minute of it... Maybe it was the beer! Side angle view. The rest of the white will get a coat of tan to match the house trim. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself.  It turned out better than I thought it would! Thanks to Kelly, not many people would spend their short vacation painting barns for friends, she is amazing and talented.  I love love love the new look!!!!
