Windows and Art of Montreal

Montreal is a beautiful and interesting city.  These were taken in the old part of the city in the art gallery district.  I thought these windows were stunning.  The art was amazing!!!






 This next group of photos were taken in the downtown underground malls that run from one end of montreal to the other.  This was the most amazing recycled art installation.  Using cardboard and waterbottles and miscellaneous recycled trash items they created a truly wonderous effect I just had to share.

These dead trees have burned in patterns. I think this is so amazing! A beautiful succulent topiary lady. This one cracks me up! An old window and some dollar store beads and voila, a shimmering wall hanging. These mosaic columns are made from pvc piping scraps.  Pretty awesome! Barn Mural Revealed

My huge white barn got the royal makeover these past couple of days when my girlfriend came to visit and help me with this massive project. My gal pal hard at work!  She even provided some of the exterior paint.... She rocks! We tried a bit of shading but it just didn't look good.  We ended up covering it up and going with simple clean lines. My bestie, Kelly O.  She worked her ass off and enjoyed every minute of it... Maybe it was the beer! Side angle view. The rest of the white will get a coat of tan to match the house trim. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself.  It turned out better than I thought it would! Thanks to Kelly, not many people would spend their short vacation painting barns for friends, she is amazing and talented.  I love love love the new look!!!!
